Take quartered 2-3 limes and muddle with syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add cachaça and shake. Strain into cocktail glass. Add 1-2 lime to drink.

You can use fine sugar instead of simple syrup. Use 2-3 teaspoons of sugar and muddle with the limes in the cocktail shaker.
